Perhaps you are familiar with the phenomenon: condensation occurs in cold pipes in the HVAC system and standard insulation therefore no longer works properly. HVAC equipment, such as a climate control system, is a breeding ground for bacteria and fungi. Because the air that passes through such a system also enters the entire building, the air inside buildings can be up to 10 times more polluted than the outside air. This is one of the sources of sick building syndrome. People start to feel sick after some time in a building. Sealution Humidfoam has an antibacterial and antifungal quality in compliance with ISO 846 classification 1. The material is ideal for use in systems where large temperature differences exist in a humid environment.
Are you planning to use the insulation material outdoors? This is no problem as well. The material is weather, UV and ozone resistant. You can also use it for solar heating, for example, with no drying out and/or cracking.
