Heat exchangers, look into your own living and working environment and you will come across them everywhere. In the car, in your home, in the office, in hospitals, schools and other public buildings, in production halls and wherever else. Thinking along in the design phase

It is an advantage in this respect that heat exchanger manufacturers come to us early on in the design phase. On the basis of the specifications, we can then think along with you about what the seals should meet, about the geometry, product composition and optimum fit within the design. Sometimes it’s a relatively simple rubber O-ring, but often you’re talking about more complex seals, completely custom-designed, with very precise tolerances. Huge diversity

We produce seals for heat exchangers on behalf of, for example, car manufacturers, machine builders and manufacturers of air-conditioning, central heating boilers and heating & ventilation systems. The applications are numerous and so is the geometry of the seals. If a heat exchanger does gradually show traces of leakage, it is in the vast majority of cases due to wear and tear of the construction. Our research statistics show that in only around 20% of cases is a seal failing. Apart from calamities, heat exchangers on average last about 15 years and so do the seals.
